IELTS speaking topic : family life について

How is the family life today?
Fatherhood ought to be emphasised as much as motherhood, do you agree?
There is an increasing gap in standard living between urban and rural area, what do you think the reason behind this?
Life at a faster pace?
Old people, who should be responsible?

生活のスタイルが昔に比べて変わってきていることによって浮上してきた問題について以下のようなものがあげられると思います

increased life expectancy - a symbol of healthy society? birth rate fall
more people should reach old age in good health and capable of contributing to society intellectually, spiritually, and physically. WHO has called for more research into ways dealing with old age, such as osteoporosis, heart disease, and dimentia (screening programme as well as new treatment)

retirement age; It used to be rather easy to pick the right time to retire. But a lot has changed, and now, the decision isn’t so automatic. Age Discrimination Survey shows over half of over-50s feel need to continue working, but 80% claim discrimination when applying for jobs. Companies need to start thinking about new laws prohibiting age discrimination, in particular, the end of mandatory retirement age

noise pollution; air plane, car (highway), mobilephone, headphone, advertisement, noise from neighbouring household

living in urban area; no natural environment, less friendly, faster pace of life, crime (dangerous), congestion, overcrowded (close proximity to each other), high cost of living (exorbitant), pollution, dirty, noisy, more tension and animosity (people's behaviour does not improve in overcrowded condition), but there are more amenities, cultural event, basic infrastructure, vibrant and exciting, a focus for human activity
Housing should not be under-occupied because this is a waste of resources, therefore, it would be much better if the thousands of old ladies who live alone in large detached houses would move into small urban flats, thus releasing the large houses for families - however, many of those old ladies prefer to continue to live in their family home with their familier surroundings and with their memories.
no public open space, people complain more readily about other people's pets than ever before.

nuclear family; single parent (less supervision of children), working mother, more old people who live alone, extended family with both parents and other family members providing physical and emotional support and role-models for their children

today's family; more health issue (allergy, asthma), school (more expensive), adolescence deliquency, over-protected children, a person's behavior can sometimes be traced back to his/her formulating years,

old people; the concept of a werfare society in which people are less fortunate than othres are politically and financially assissted, the main problem is that such socialist agendas are extremely expensive to implant and maintain, even in a comparatively wealthy country with a large working and hence tax paying population base. Welfare society tend to towards bankrupcy unless goverment spending is kept in check. crime increases when people have no means of support.

life at a faster pace; We have been spoiled by services that provide instant gratification: overnight deliveries, instant cash from ATMs, faxes,  e-mail, cell phones, information from the Internet, global news from a satellite, 24-hour grocery stores, the problem is , when we don't get what we want instantly, or have to wait in line, we get impatient — and swear, We are stressing each other out
